- while stirring with enveloping movements.
- Pour the milk together with the butter softened at room temperature and continue mixing, until a smooth and creamy compound is formed.
- Peel the pears and cut them into slices, as we would cut some potatoes to make an omelette.
- Add the pears to the mixture being careful not to break them.
- Pour the mixture into a previously buttered baking dish and bake at 180ºC for 35-40 minutes. Put the oven to medium cooking, on top so that the cake is browned.
- Let cool on a wire rack before unmolding it so it doesn’t fall apart.

- Difficulty: medium
- Preparation time: 45 minutes + 40 minutes of cooking.
- If you want to add a different touch, you can add a pinch of cinnamon, which although it may not seem like it, combines well with the pear.
- If it is taken a little warm, the taste of the pear is more enjoyed and you can add a little cold liquid cream, which contrasts with the taste of the cake and makes it a truly delicious dessert.
- Pears must be used ripe, or else the dish will be hard and dry. The best varieties of pear for this dish are the red and the conference pear.
